Hello Friends,Well spring has sprung and the District Conference season is well under way. We are having a great time on the road with all of you. If you haven’t already, it is not too late to make arrangements for a few of those conferences that are still remaining. So far, they have been amazing! The weekends have been like a family reunion – only we’re adding many new faces and that is marvelous. Once you experience an ABWA conference event – you’re hooked! It began that way for me in 1993 when I attended my first spring event and it has only gotten better and better. Your National Board Members are active in the workshop presentations and in the business of educating the groups on Best Practices and WIN. Speaking of WIN …. WOW! This totally terrific techno tool is a WINNER! Your National Board members have been very involved in the planning and design of this product and we assure you it is a huge benefit to all members, regardless of age or working status. We all need to attract new members and WIN is gonna do it! I have already signed up and my dues are up in July! This product is worth much more than the $1.24 per month cost. I want to hear from you approximately 30 days after you have been driving the WIN experience. Email me off my web page and let me know your thoughts. I am thoroughly enjoying my time with all of you. My weekends are booked all the way to the Kansas City Celebration. To be able to come and see you and share my knowledge and the experience with you is making the year soar. Before we know it, it will be September and we will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary together in Kansas City. The Four Seasons (Frankie Valli’s fabulous singing group of the 50-60-70s era) song, “See you in September” should be one we are humming throughout the summer as we prepare to gather and commemorate 60 super years of ABWA. I’ve only been around for 17 so I am relying on many of you to keep sharing those historical (and hysterical) stories of days gone by with me. If you have been unable to attend a District Conference due to work, family or economic reasons, I am hopeful that you have penciled us in for the Kansas City National Conference. There is a great payment plan right now if you get in on it by May 31st. Airfares are dropping so nothing wrong with booking early (I did J already). The Housing Form is available already and the rates are terrific ($135 a night). Plus, if you share with 3 of your ABWA sisters that’s just 1 room night each! Enjoy the spring my friends.
