About Vicki At Verizon, Employee Safety is a very high priority. Managing the Emergency Preparedness Program with Verizon, Vicki works side-by-side with over 350 Deputy Emergency Preparedness Coordinators across the country each year to ensure that Verizon’s 200,000+ employees are educated and prepared in all aspects of emergency event management and OSHA requirements. Vicki’s true passions are her family and ABWA and she balances her time with husband, Jack (whom she married at the 1997 Las Vegas Spring Conference) and her children and grandchildren. Vicki has served as Chapter President, Vice President, and Secretary and has chaired and/or served on every chapter committee (including Fund Raising for 10 years). For the Dallas Area Council Vicki has served as Council Secretary, and chaired the Vision Women’s Expo, Strut and Annual Woman of the Year Luncheon as well as serving on numerous committees. Vicki’s fun and innovative spirit and energy are her trademark. Her favorite out of the box idea began almost 10 years ago when she initiated her chapter’s frequent “smileage” program – CLAMS (Charisma Loves Active Members Smiling). ABWA involvement awards CLAMS to chapter members and CLAMS are redeemed for chapter or national dues, monthly dinners, and more. CLAMS are fun and valuable! Creativity and forward thinking are the key to our future.
